Custom Food Packaging

Packaging Built Around What You Make

Every food has a different enemy. Some fear moisture, some fear oxygen, some just need to survive a shipping box. We build custom food packaging that starts from the product and works outward.

  • Low minimums and fast turnarounds
  • Food-safe, direct-contact materials
  • Recyclable and compostable options

Start With the Product, Not the Bag

The most expensive packaging mistakes happen when a brand picks a format first and discovers the problem later. A coffee that needed a valve. A cracker that needed a higher barrier. A sauce that needed a spout. Getting this right is not complicated, but the order matters: what the food is, how long it has to stay good, how it is sold, and how it gets to the customer. Answer those four and the specification almost writes itself.

Choose Your Format

Shape decides how your product sits on a shelf, how much you can print, and what it costs to ship.

Stand-up pouch food packaging format
Stand-Up PouchesThe all-rounder. Sits upright, prints big, takes a zipper easily.
Flat bottom food pouch
Flat Bottom BagsFive printable panels and a stable base for a premium shelf presence.
Pillow bag snack packaging
Pillow BagsThe most material-efficient option for high volume snacks.
Spouted pouch for sauces and liquids
Spouted PouchesControlled pouring for sauces, purees, syrups, and drinks.

Our guide to food packaging formats compares these side by side if you are still deciding.

Barrier layers in a food packaging laminate

Barrier Is the Part You Cannot See

The layers inside the film are what keep food good. Match them to your product rather than buying the highest barrier available, because over-specifying costs money and sometimes causes its own problems.

  • Standard barrierDry goods with a modest shelf life and low fat.
  • High barrierFoil or metallized layers for coffee, snacks, and anything aromatic.
  • Extra-high barrierLong shelf life, high fat, or oxygen-sensitive products.
  • Recyclable mono-materialSingle-family films that keep useful barrier performance.

Higher is not automatically better. Our post on why snacks go soft in the bag explains a case where a better barrier makes things worse.

Features & Finishing

The details customers interact with every single time they open your product.

If your product is powdery or greasy, read why zippers stop resealing before you commit to a closure.
